D. P. PEARSON 1950 27 month of Malpaso Creek, Monterey Co., Calif. Jan. 20 1912 ♂ Corynothirus rafinesquei passed fecal pellet while being banded; hence had probably fed previous evening. Released after banding 49-123 443 Angwin, Napa Co., Calif. Feb. 4 1913 ♀ Corynothirus rafinesquei caught Feb. 3 by Anita and Bernie Kinney in Gracelton area. 1914 also present. Molted as all Molly fish observable from vagina (had been separated from sperm at least 17 hours, probably more than 24. Thousands of sperm in antrum. Little fat. Rt. horn larger than left; 1.2 mm. O.V. faintly white sheathed but tortuous. Rt. horn quite translucent but not left. Can see foripes right through horn. No corpus or large follicle seen inside directional range? Broodier follicle in left ovary 37 x 43 [x 8.5]. Sperm at tube-ovarian junction. 1914 ♂ Corynothirus rafinesquei caught as 1913. Everted. Medium size in tail membrane; left everted looks larger. No fat. Testis 5 x 2½, purple, flabby. Left everted 5 x 2. Rt. testis 5 x 2½, rt. everted 4 x 1; definitely smaller than left; but millions of motile sperm. Accessory median lobes 5 mm. Dark fecal material in colon. Intestine: many sperm in everted. Seminifer tubules small, reacting intensively. Some intestinal but cells not large? Turned thick Parrish Cove, Shasta Co., Calif. J. Feb. 11, 1950 1915 ♂ Corynothirus rafinesquei killed Feb. 12. Everted. scarcely marks in tail membrane; considerable fat. Testis pale, 4 mm. Everted 3½ mm looks fatty. Accessory tiny, 2 mm. Thin. Pelage looked grey. Intestine: no sperm in everted, large ova but no vitellus Viviana 35 m 1916 ♀ Corynothirus rafinesquei killed Feb. 12. Banded 42-162 246 Molted medium. Some fat. Rt. horn sheathed; L.V. mm., larger than left 53-medium follicle, sperm in antrum. Numerous mitoses in intestine 1917 ♀ Corynothirus see card 1918 ♂ Corynothirus see card 1919 ♂ Corynothirus see card
