1848 ♂ Corynorhinus rafinesquai
caught by Anita + Mary Oct. 20, awake in shallow cave. Epidid not
conspicuous in tail membrane. No fat, accessory small,
3.5 mm across. Testis 5 mm., epidid 3 x 1. A few sperm in
epidid smear. See sections: level sections of epidid. But no sperm
in them. Scrotal tubule quiet, a few int effects seen but no mitoses, no sperm.
many interstitial fibs but not large.

caught by Anita + Mary Oct. 19. No others present. * was not seen on
earlier visit Oct. 19 so may have just arrived. Epidid conspic.
in tail membrane. Banded #2-162374. Much fat. Testis
accessory large, 8½ mm across. Testis 4 x 3, somewhat fleabby
and slightly purplish epidid 3 x 6. Many sperm in epidid smear.
In sections: tubules small, no sperm, only int effects seen; little interstitial tissue;

visible in tail membrane but not conspicuous. Considerable
fat. Accessory small, 4 mm across. Testis 4.5 mm.
Epidid 4.5 mm long. A few sperm in epidid smear. In sections:
sperm in some tubules, 1 mitosis seen, some interstitial tissue.
