Aug 24 French Camp. Occasional tracks in Road, Coquell saw and shot at 2 near Schoolhouse Peak 2 nights ago and fire warden (Philips) says he frequently sees them near here.
Aug 25 Think one along stream on south face of Coyote Peaks, 2700 ft. It ran into low fork of a tree where I missed it.
