Mierotus californicus
Aug. 26 saw no signs of Mierotus and caught none in what looked like good Mierotus meadow (all Zapus) on south slope of Coyote Peak. Only one we have encountered this year [illegible] in a moist sedge-filled seep cut in the prairie. Must be scarce this year.
