Meotoma cuerea
Aug. 17 Visitor to camp this morning remarked that the only animal that he noted missing from our collection was a rat about the size of Meotoma frajipes but with a tail like a chipmunk. He says he has seen them in abandoned cabins between here and Cronell.
Aug. 28 Mr. Patterson, owner of ranch near Willow Creek, says he has seen these near his summer pasture which is at about 6000 ft., reached by foot trail east of Horace Sinto (20 3 miles north of here)
