O. P. PEARSON Entanias toumardi Aug 11 Several lines along the road southeast of camp and make themselves known by chirping. So far they have stayed in very thick tangles and I have not seen them, but Miller says they have not been shy and could be squawked out into the open. Aug 13 Shot two in thimbleberry - wild cucumber tangle. One may have been feeding on one of these plants. Aug 17 Several seen along old county road in brush near Kane Ranch, east of Big Canyon, 450 ft Aug 29 3 mi N Willam Creek, 600 ft. Heard one in morning and late afternoon on [illegible] north slope near camp (maple - dogwood - oak - fir - madrona).
