March 22 left 2:30 p.m. with Philip Arend for microstia.
Set 4g Benson traps (Arend) baited with catered 4 p.m. at
San Quentin Marsh and 60 Shermana. Also 26
Shermans at the Corte Modera grassy marsh.
at 8 p.m. looked in the old brick barn and found
4 to 6 bats flying - looked like Myotis yumanensis.
Temp outside quite cool, probably about 50 (guessed)
Two or more of the bats still there at 9 p.m.
March 23
Seven microstia
in the San Quentin traps at 10 p.m., none at Corte Modena.
Night cold, frost on ground and frozen spiderbks on traps. Seven
more microstia at San Quentin and about 5 Panthera nigolstris (plus 2
Panthera negalstra at Corte Moderna also forgot to mention one loves
alive at 10 last night. Fed eagerly on Panthera carcase.
