Ovaries peach-colored, no large follicle. Skin & skull skeleton + V.S. saved. Killed June 3 -- but both small. 1583 ζ Corynorhinus rafinesquii Caught Inverness, Fanchi's barn, June 2. Killed June 3. With 1572 and many pregnant + lactating ζζ. Nipple tiny. Ovaries small. Rt. horn slightly stouter than left. Ovaries peach-colored, no large follicle. Saved pelvis. Banded over kitchen April 28, 1949. Not caught May 29. This is only one on June 5 not / any or nursing. Banded 16/795 .. Mother had been pregnant when captured May 29. Baby on June 5 weighed 4.2 g., forearm 25 mm. Baby when it died: forearm 26 mm.
