Both ovaries with small and med follicle. Pr sections: small + small med follicles. No corpora, no sperm. Vagina stub sterilized. 1476 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquai captured of alone but not injected. nipple large. Ut. 1mm. B.V. not conspicuously white-sheathed but firm. No follicles seen in either ovary. Torpid, nipple small. vagina pale, B.V. thick-walled, rt. horn > 2mm. wide. Both horns short and "chunky". Both ovaries orange-purple with small + medium follicles, rt. ovary follicles slightly larger than left. No corpora seen. Not full. Pr sections: r. ov with small follicles and small corpora luteum + large corpuscle. L. ov. with small follicles. 53 cleaving ova in uterne, <48 cells arrested, no zona. Uterine glands ring well developed. No sperm seen at head of uterus, ova in rt. horn. 1480 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquai intermedius 109 x 55 x 11 x 37 captured 1479. nipple medium. Uterus slightly rosier, B.V. thick-walled, rt. horn about 2 mm., thick and slightly swollen. Left ov. smaller also. Rt. ov. with small follicles. Left ovary with small follicles and one pale oviductal projection possibly corpora luteum. ovaries orange-purple. Not full. Pr sections: small folicles in rt and left ovars, plus small corpora in left, not arrested no sperm seen at tubo-uterine junction. 55 cleaving ovum in uterne, <11 cells, arrested, no zona. Both horns "full" (arrested), about 1-2 mm wide, but rt. horn slightly longer although same thickness. No corpora med. follicles in either ovary or corpora, small folicles in sections of Rt + Lt ovars and some corpora in left. 35 ova and large block of granulosa just entering oviduct, 1 at PB and 2nd arrested chromatin.
