Sperm in epidid. 97 x 39 x 12 x 8 6.3 g. 1470 ♀ Lepus ornatus californicus Viviparous, horns short and long (15 mm. across T), Not markedly pregnant, Probably parous. 109 x 42 x 11 x 8 5.2 g. San Quentin, Marin Co., Calif. Feb. 23, 1949 1471 Lepus vagrans vagrans Caught by Mary Koford in Salt Marsh (Sahioria). Bulb - welled 4 ½ mm.; Testis 7 mm. 102 x 39 x 12 x 8 6.2 g. Labyrinth Cave, 4800 ft., Lava Beds Nat. Mon., Lake Co. 1472 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei Captured Feb. 5 . Kept room temp. and fed. Injected 5 i.v. Antitoxin 5 in H₂O solvent on Feb. 19 g*. Killed Feb. 24 11 a.m. Nipple tiny, UT. 1mm., BV. not thick-walled. Lumen at crotch containing bloody fluid which can be seen through walls of uterus and squeezed back + forth, always returning to crotch. No follicles of any sort seen under dissecting scope in either ovary; no corpora, lutea. 1473 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei Sister of 1472 but not injected. Nipple small, US. stout, 2 mm., BV. thick-walled, No follicles of any sort within in either ovary under dissecting scope.
