January 16, 1949. 1440 ♂ Corynorhinos rafinesquei intermedius In Chalk Tunnel near Pit #1 Power Station. Torpid only 1441 & 1440 in tunnel. Not much fat. Testes 5 mm. epididymis 5 mm. Testes feebly. Accessories large j 8 mm across, 7 mm anterior - posterior. Accessories weighed 102 mg. Tubulae small, close packed, not much intertubal tissue. Sperm across 1.3 SE Kinn's Innerness, Marin Co. Calif January 27, 1949 1441 ♂ Corynorhinos rafinesquei intermedius 107 x 56 x 11 x 38 7.2 gr. In Chalk Tunnel near Pit #1 Power Station. Torpid. Only 1440 + 1441 in tunnel. Testes 5 mm feebly. Epididymis 4 mm. No fat. Accessory large, 7 mm across, 7 anterior - posterior. Accessories weighed 102 mg. Still same as 1440 1442 ♀ Corynorhinos rafinesquei intermedius 107 x 51 x 11 x 39 catch by MK in Golden's den alone. Torpid. Hanging in precisely same spot as a Corynorhinos on December 14 1948 (see note for Dec 14). Banded: 42-138171 Banded May 30, 1947; had found young. On Aug. 10 recorded as lactating. Mipple medium, considerably fat. RT horn longer & stouter than left, 2 mm wide. B.V complete. White-skulled. One med follicle in left ovary. Thunderbolt Cave Modoc Lava Beds Natural Monument 4800 ft.
