Waipio Valley, 10 ft. Hawaii Nov. 17, 1940 1403 PHB 435 ? Jazminus semota arrived gutted and frozen, Dec. 9, skeleton + part skin saved; 132 x 62 x 12 x 16 1404 PHB 466 ? Herpestes arrived frozen from Baldwin Dec. 9, not free, skeleton opened both ovaries with small + med. follicles, no corpora. Ova surrounded by a thick rather irregularly zona pellucida so that ovis contain great number of atretic ova - like worm eggs. 543 x 240 x 57 x 21 g. 35T 1405 PHB 463 ? Herpestes arrived frozen from Baldwin Dec. 9, Testa severed but not completely so, penis sheathed like bovidum, urethra opening ventro-posteriorly by a 2-mm. slit.
