P. PEARSON 1948 45 1350 ♀ Dipodomys heermanni 293 x 180 x 42 x 16 captured at 1349. Killed Nov. 17, 1948. Vteri medium thick, no sacra, ovaries with microloma medium follicula but no corpora. Much fat. 1351 ♂ Dipodomys heermanni 291 x 180 x 41 x 15 captured at 1349. Killed Nov. 17, 1948 Testis 12 mm. Fat. 1352 ♀ Dipodomys heermanni 295 x 182 x 43 x 14 captured at 1349. Killed Nov. 26, 1948. 4300ft Subway Cave, 11 mi. SE Hat Creek, Placer Co., Calif. Nov. 6, 1948 1353 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei intermedius 109 x 49 x 11 x 37 captured in daytime in cave. Male + female in same large cave but not clustered. All torpid + cold. Dried secretion around anus + vulva, vaginal opening not large, nipple tiny, surrounded by bare area. Much fat. Vteri fairly vascular but not enlarged. Under dissecting scope no large follicles or corpora seen. In sections: sperm in vagina + uterus, alveated cervix, one med-large follicle. 1354 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei no skin, no skull 108 x 50 x 11 x 37 Capture as 1353. Vaginal opening tiny, nipple medium large, clear fluid expressible. Considerable mammary tissue? (pickled) Uteri more vascular than 1353, but not enlarged. Right horn slightly larger than left. Irregular On sections: some mammary tubules but vascular spot in right ovary. not active, smooth fat. One medium follicle, sperm in uterua 1355 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei no skin, no skull 110 x 50 x 11 x 38 Capture as 1353. Nipple medium large, tiny drop of white fluid expressible. Vaginal opening tiny. Much fat. Uteri, quite vascular but not enlarged. Right horn larger than left. Large follicle in right ovary. Does not protrude.
