PEARSON 1948 39 1304 Cymothoa rufinosquae intermedius 108x52x10x37 7.0g male of the spined. caught and killed same date as 1302, Testis 5mm., only the tip segmented, tubules not visible under dissecting scope. No fat. In aetiva: sperms with columnar cilates epithelium, no sperm. In thetha: intense motile activity (spermatozoan), but no sperm. Interstitial tissue fairly abundant, stained slightly pink. 1305 Cymothoa rufinosquae intermedius 103x50x11x37 8.2g. fertion as 1302, caught + killed Oct.1, Testis 6mm., tip of spined thick. no tubules visible even under dissecting scope. No fat. Epididymus with columnar ciliated epithelium, no sperm. Testis resting, practically no motile, no sperm. Interstitial tissue fairly abundant. 1306 Lucerne, 1330ft. Lake Or, Calif. 1306 Myctia thysanodes thysanodes 98x45x10x20 8.0g. cought in tunnel, had been banded 46-26886 MK. Much fat. Mipple median, oraries much smaller than long., medium follicles numerous in rt. left ovary, lt. horn much shorter than left. trace of pigment in ligament running posterolally from tip of each interior horn (asin Cymothoa), caught evening Sept.30, killed evening Oct.1, age not certain when banded in 1947 1307 Myctia thysanodes thysanodes 89x38x10x19 6.9g. cought + killed as 1306. Mipple tiny. Much fat. Ovaries much smaller than in Cory, contain a few small-medium follicles but not as many as 1306. Uteri very small, rt horn possibly bigger than left, pigmented ligament very prominent on both sides. Banded MK.46-26881 was immature when banded Sept.24,1947. 1308 Myctia lucifuga carissima 85x35x11x14 5.4g. accesories large + twiged. Testis 4mm. Tail of spined large+dark. Not much fat. 1309 Cymothoa gymnoensis saturatus 80x35x10x13 4.7g accesories large + twiged. Testis 5mm., sperms large + dark. Not fat. 1310 Cymothoa gymnoensis saturatus 84x36x10x14 5.3g. no large follicles. Both horns about same size. Dark pigment on both sides, not fat.
