Myotis calif.
Sept. 1 - a lone small bat flew about the yard several times this evening, long after dusk. Others have been seen fluttering but none collected yet.
Sept 2 - one Myotis? flew around inside the house for about half a minute at 6:30 a.m. d.st., then disappeared. It was quite light outside.
Sept 4 - Noticed two going to roost at 6:15 a.m. d.st in our house at Presque Harbor. After several zooms they landed and slipped into the cracks between the clapboards and the trim around doors and windows. Went around the house later and removed 7 from such locations, all on the south or west side of the house. 6 males and 1 female.
