abundant. Aside from the Peromyscus put up, there are 5 males and 4 females. Sept 8 a dozen traps in barn, feed room, etc., caught 2 Pero. about 75 along the stream below the ranch caught 13 Pero, although something had taken the bait from all but a half dozen (possibly beetles that squeak when touched.) Since they were baited just before dusk they must have had bait for the early part of the evening. Saw a single Corycorhamus in the bottom floor of the winery (where antrozens lives above). The eclipse vineyard is overrun by quail. The grapes are fed on by turkeys, corns, skunks, pheasants, and probably pigs + fofez. Caught a shunk in the vineyard.
