Aside from the Peromyscus put up, there are 5 males and 4 females.
Sept 8 a dozen traps in barn, feed room, etc., caught 2 Pero.
about 75 along the stream below the ranch caught 13 Pero,
although something had taken the bait from all but a half
dozen (possibly beetles that squeak when touched.) Since they
were baited just before dusk they must have had bait
for the early part of the evening.
Saw a single Corycorhamus in the bottom floor of
the winery (where antrozens lives above).
The eclipse vineyard is overrun by quail. The
grapes are fed on by turkeys, corns, skunks, pheasants,
and probably pigs + fofez. Caught a shunk in the
vineyard.

Sept 9 Only traps out were those in the swamp, the foot traps, as
a handful of museum species in special situations.
cought only 2 Peromyscus. Also 1 more Myotis in
north of the house.
Spent morning skinning Pero and more antrozens from
yesterdays catch. Put out a new trapline in afternoon
of about 60 museum specks and 6 steel traps. The
muse-spec. in 3 canyons on the east side of our valley,
all are cob canyons with trickles of water, but very.
