Larne canner
20 July Patwaga River, 2 mi SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Pote shot 2 of these that I thought were
Kittiwakes but after seeing them guarding
territory for several days decided that
they must be this species. We collected two
today as we had the first 2 to the Roughley.
They were found guarding an island
downstream just above the stream run
from the lake to the river
19 July Patwaga River, Cape Sabine, Alaska
an adult with a dependent juvenile
moved on to our bar this morning before we
got up. Every time we go out it colds
and dives at me. The jaspers give
it a bad time.
