6 Aug Pitanga River, Cape Soline, Alaska
One adult ball on caribou set. when we
wentford & get rest of animals shot yesterday.
9 Aug One big bull seen on antler. Pete shot
one just from the ridge from camps. It
had many warble fly eggs on the shi
of the chest and both upper legs. His
feet were rough and swollen and his
right front hoof was cracked. It had
owars on both upper legs, Pete thought
from this that he had been in the mutton
and had fallen on its chest. Although
as adult warble flies were on its skin
we landed on each of us while we skinned it.
