Childs 1958 Rangifer 30 June Patruzea River, Cape Saline, Alaska A single ? was seen bedded down near Owl Ridge on way to Wolverine Mt. It was feeding near 2nd Ridge when I came over it on the way back and ran picking my new farm on the way 3 July Herd of 175+ across river. 5 July Patruzea River, 1 mile SE Cape Saline, Alaska One, apparently somewhat crippled, seen across the river. 6 July A single, band of 7, and herd of 300 seen up the mouth of Patruzea. The herd was seen at the top of a high hill where it may have been avoiding the mooguitors 13 July 6 seen at great distance 19 July Patruzea River, 2 mi SE Cape Saline, Alaska One bull seen feeding along bank upstream. 3 August Patruzea River, Cape Saline, Alaska Pete got one of 4 which returned with the north wind today. 5 Aug Pete got 3 out past 2nd ridge. He saw 11 others spotted by a wolf. 4 Aug Pete saw ? + fam on Cantor Mt. 5 Aug Pete got an adult marble fly on skin from his Pete and 3 on one of the other. This is the same fly I swatted in my hair a few days ago. It looks very real while the battle bee & thiam
