8 Gm—Patruagen River, Cape Sabine, Alaska
8 2807 had 59 again mostly on
either side of the midline. About 10 appear
large enough to be ready to leave.
8 2808 had 119 (48 right - 71 left) evenly
distributed from snout to shoulder. This
one had 31 Noctil fly larvae in a
pocket in the back of the naso-pharynx.
They were in a mass ½ the size of my
fist. 4+ hours later they were still very
slightly in a mixture of 70% Rolt and
Bonin. All were saved.
Amber of Warble fly larvae in various
stages were preserved.
109—8 near Wolverine Mt.
129—4 across river.
199—40 behind Mt. across river. No fans
seen.
209—40+ near Falcon Rock and 50+ near
Wolverine pit. 7 can in near bluff +
Mele shot at the 4½ miles! North
wind + canker all over.
219—Hunted 10 across river on first
Terrace. They saw us leave but it
bedded down when we got below
river bank. Mele circled but
they saw him at ½ mile but he
still shot!
