5 Aug Betongea River, Cape Solbin, Alaska
Two small groups of 6x7 feeding
outpass But Ridge this p.m. The
remains of the two we shot had
only been fed on slightly by jays;
one gull was seen. Absence
of large mammals.
6 Aug About 500 or so mts. away this way up
wind. 7 moved across out ridge. We
got two along the beach near the
cabin, one of which swam out
in the ocean and drowned.
