Later Frank & I found a calf alone and soon it went over to two dressed carcasses of B + 4 adult. Father Ed reported a heard of 6 south of the village. Burnell said two years there were thrown on the flat across the river. This was confirmed later by Mrs. Brown. July 15 Wainwright Alaska Natives get 'em mean here regularly! July 23 Hot + windless.
