One had been obtained at one of the
whaling camps. Ranch obtained the skulls.
4 June Pittmezea River, Cape Sabine Alaska
Pete saw many of this species on
the ice near the river's mouth.
9 June Saw up to 50 scattered over thine
off the river. Pete hunted but got
none. Saw one spotted Seal.
12 June Number still present on ice but harder
to get it.
24 June One seen at river mouth.
