19 July Pitergea River, in SE Cape Sabine, Alaska A
In the first 20 traps placed under willows 4' high along a drainage into the river, we caught
4 plus one oeconomic. The ground cover was a bright green moss and fair runways
were developed in it. One other, the smallest
in the Catlyn was taken in among some twoweb.
I had suggested Clethrionomys here!

20 traps along Brandridge in 2' willows failed to
yield mice. 23 traps in well developed Mandy
Wet Meadow yielded only 1 miurus.
20 July Caught 6 in Mandy Wet Meadow and under shrubbery
then were mowed. 92658 had tests which looked used although
she had a Bridge. The traps were at a variety of situations, from
no cover to willows. Bridges had animals were caught in all except
the high willow with dried leaves, cedernests. Cuttyspan
in ledge Marshley peatstruggard (probably are M. oeconomic)
as it is more their type of territory.
