Charles 1963 Dicrotoxys groenlandicus 16 June Wainwright, Alaska 2 Taken in traplines. 26 June Barrat, Alaska One taken on Beach Ridge in Trapline 5. 12 July Bernard River, Barako Island, NWT, Canada We doubled Mahen's catch of this species by catching one in an obviously active hole in the Dryas tarens along the river's edge. Large holes perhaps 2-3" in diam. were seen frequently and I assumed to be the activity of this species as they did not do this. These holes were generally grouped into a burrow system with different, more lush vegetation than the surrounding areas. Needless to say they apparently are not abundant this year
