Childs 1955 Diabostomy x July 8 Atbashy Meade River, Alaska surface. This would tend to give the very impression of their abundance, particularly in the drier areas they are said to occupy. Only by a more extensive study than I was able to make will settle the habitat preference question — if there is a difference! The heavy puddled feet even in the summer plumage is an interesting adaptation which, if understood, might bear on this subject. The anal extension also needs some study. That there is considerable strife, both in laminar Diabostomy, is evidenced by the holes in the skin in the dorsal wing area (scabos and scars on the far side) as well as prostute infections in the cheek gland areas. July 15 Wannwright, Alaska No evidence of their occurrence here to date. July 18 Walds Bodfish, said he had seen as yet last winter. I still have seen no evidence of them.
