12 July Satangashan, 16mi SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Took one in Tg-10.0 this morning. It was
in Tussor wet Meadow with the bark
Betula nana
20 July Patnugation, 7mi SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Four were caught in T12 this morning. This is
in the same type of habitat - mature Tussor wet
Meadow as seen in transects Tg + T10. It
differs from Tg at the base camp in that the
tussors are larger, there appears to be more
asphagum, and the presence of much large
Betula nana. M. occorans, was taken in
pockets of hedge rows (carap), along the line and
one 5orex.
