29 June Found nest across river 1' thick w/ly in field-leaf willow
5 July Pitweyea River, 16 miles SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Common in the shrubby areas. Collected Two.
12 July Collected a very red Redpoll - possibly A. linaria
13 July Found a nest with 3 young just hatched and one egg
17 July Found nest with 5 eggs. This species may lay 2 clutches per season on occasion.
18 July Pitweyea River, 7mi SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Another seen in the field. leaf willow.
23 July Found a nest in field-leaf willow with 4 eggs - flushed 9
25 July Found nests w/5 young and 4/6 eggs upstream where 9 shot Fox Sparrow.

Although most have left the area now, I saw one today.
