1325 ? or not. She set off twice when we approached & weight
the young. There are 3 young and 2 eggs in the nest.
Dates of hatching are known (see FAP notes). The P has not been
seen.
33 ? gone. Difficult to see in nest from this position
39 ? fed, settled.
46 3 RP flew over, calling. & long-tail Jaeger flew west around
51 ? left.
56 ? fed, removed f.o.
1406 ? fed, settled.
14 ?s calling [old-squaw]
14 ? left.
19 ? fed, left
21 ? fed, removed f.o.
26 ? fed, settled. This ? has much more black in throat, face
and crown than most. Flaps up and approaches
the 37 plumage quite closely.
28 Gull flew over towards west. 30, another gull.
34 ? left.
45 ? fed, settled. It is quite cold and it appears that the ? does not
have much food in her mouth on each of her visits plus
the length of time she is out makes the theory plausible
that there is a scarcity of food available today.
55 ? gone when nest checked. She can get off in a flash and it is
difficult to see into the nest
