CHILDs 1951 SAVANNAH SPARROW Passerculus sandwichensis July 10 Uniat, Alaska Several were seen on the flat areas near the foothills Aug 5 East Ounalashka, 110 mi SSE Barrow, Alaska Only a few of this species were seen in the field and all collected were juveniles. By the end of our stay at this locality several were compulsively to the cracked wheat + poppy seed we scattered in camp. Aug 10 Point Barrow, Alaska I got one in a bird trap which Frank obtained.
