Cormo corax 29 June Pitnayee River, Cape Subins, Alaska Although we heard young calling that sounded like ravens and find black feather under the cliff, we were all surprised to see one adult and to find that there were two nests on the small cliff. 2 mi. upstream. The adult one in close then flew high and disappeared. This nest is about 40' above the water and 3' below the top overhang — very inaccessible place. The sun holds true for the Duck dark nest. 29 July One seen + heard flying river Toward nest. 14 July One flew down river accompanied by Parasitic Gargers who wouldn't allow it & land at our garbage.
