6 July Pitneger River, 16 miles SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Framda nest with 3 young just about
ready to fledge. Nest located in the
only tall Tall-leaf Willow at about
4 ft from ground. Willows about 6½ ft
tall.
7 July
Young had fledged when we returned today
to take pictures. Adults very pugnacious
and the 9 hit my head three times with
plenty of force as I took pictures of the
young.
13 July Shot the 4 adult
18 July Pitneger River, 7 mi SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Ratel shot 2 fossil green juries out of
4 seen.
