Childs 1959 Stercorariuspomarinus 16 June Barrow, Alaska Several pairs set up on gas-line road, Saw one eating lemming. 17 June Barrow to Chelatol Point Probably less than 100 seen in this long flight. 24 June Paterzega River, Cape Sabine, Alaska Maker has found several nests. Refer to his note 28 June During last several days there have been flocks of up to 26 in lean marsh but today with clear, warm weather they are gone and all is quiet. 29 June 4 July 14 on river above camp bathing The mass movement of Pomarine Jaegers to the West continues. During the late evening of the trap lines flocks of up to 30 have been resting at the turnoff in west marsh, 12 July Paterzega River, Twin SE Cape Sabine, Alaska None seen so far. 18 July Wainwright, Alaska One seen passing over the ridge. Jaegers (2p?) seen associated with flocks of Gannet gulls frequently along coast from Paterzega to Barrow and return to Wainwright. 20 July No more than a handful of sight records during the 4 days here. Jaegers uncommon.
