18 July Wainwright, Alaska
One seen. Reported as "more common than
usual" earlier.
20 July Perhaps 5 between villages and site. Skinned
one for Eckels' boys. Some barring in feathers.
Testis Inn. Pellet in stomach preserved.
9 Aug Patruza River Cape Sabine, Alaska
None seen to date by me. Mahon has seen
2 in last 10 days along the shore.
