K Pearson 1969 9 was a lil & green growing thing bally a bit like the area we traffed E of Papa Leon. There was an old stone altar on the hill, with a few wide steps in front of it . The chapel had been built higher above it , with high-rise steps of the local ston leading to it. Inside was a cross with all sorts of symbolic offerings -- like 3 dice, a skull & 2 fenne carved wood and nailed on it. A rooster was crowing at the tip of the cross . Many large snails & snail shells around the numerous corals. And collection of snail droppings in all the places mouse pellets should be. Faint a couple of large (O) mouse droppings, but not new or numerous. Saw at least 3 black insect larvae with red 2 dots on each segment. actual size black with red dots Seen eating a snail snail seen eating lichen Also numerous pupal cases of some insect could be found in crevices in the rocks. Very fragile, usually with a hole in them & cast insect skin inside. Size: No lizard holes. I turned over several rocky rocks and saw no scorpions either. I spent the sun splitting apart owl pellets. Mysmal + I started dissecting one pellets this,
