Palmer 1935 Itinerary Parks Creek, 2900 ft., 1 1/2 mi. S.W. Edgewood, Siskiyou Co., Calif. May 10 cont'd. (Sp.?), Lazuli Bunting, Holden Piloted Warbler, all seen along the stream in willows, alder, and Red birch; Mallard Duck, 1 pt. on a large irrigation canal; Green Heron, flew overhead. In P.M. went out 5 gopher traps and on the way, set out 35 gov.- type size mouse traps in low grass with scattered bushes, 3-4 ft. high, of Ceanothus cristicatus, Quercus garryana and a few small Pinus ponderosa. Didn't have anything in the gopher sets. On the way back to camp, caught a Hyla in the grass. May 11 In 35 mouse traps, caught mammals of the following species: Microtus californicus, 1; Reithrodontomys megalotis, 1; Peromyscus truei (?) 4; Peromyscus maniculatus, 8. Caught nothing in 8 sets of 11 gopher traps. Shot a Warbling Vireo from the branches of an Oak. New birds seen this morning are: Buzzard, 1 pt. flying over; Cooper Hawk, 1 flying over; Bushtits,
