Palmer 1936 January Laguna Ranch, San Benito Co. (cont'd.) July 27 cont'd. a firebreak. Birds were very scarce. Perhaps this is due to distance from water. Shot 1 Bell Sparrow in Adenostoma. Have been looking & listening for Black-chinned Sparrows but have neither seen nor heard them here.
