Palmer 1935 Neotoma lepida Junipar Mts., 850 ft., 6¾ mi. NW Riverside, Riverside Co., Calif. Aug. 15, 1935 Caught 1 ♀ in 40 gov.-size mouse traps. Taken in sandy bottom of small wash by a large plant of Cucurbita foetidissima with scattered bushes of Salvia apiana, Artemisia californica, and Salvia mellifera nearby.
