Caught 5 (♀♀) in 40 gm. size mouse traps. 2 taken in sandy wash with few bushes of Salvia apiana,
Salvia mellifera and Artemisia californica. 3 taken on flat with mixed fairly thick growth of Eriogonum fasciculatum, Salvia
apiana, Opuntia, and Avena,
all on hard baked soil.

& hillsides on bare hard ground beneath large bushes of Artemisia californica.
