On the hillside picked up the skull of
a Spilogale. Saw several brush
rabbits.
Aug. 18. Traps this A.M. at 6 o'clock held the
following mammals: Perognathus
californicus, 2; Dasyproctus musculus, 4;
Reithrodonturns megaloitis, 7; Peromyscus
maniculatus, 1; Peromyscus eremicus,
