Palmer 1935. Eptesicus fuscus E.H. Illinois R., 1900 ft., 1/4 mi. S Oregon line, Del Norte Co., Calif. July 13, 1935 Shot a B about dark as it flew up the canyon. Flying in a fairly straight line, rather high at the edge of a grassy flat near some buildings. Flat is surrounded by mixed Larry Oak, Kellogg Oak, Douglas Fir, Yellow Pine, Knobcone Pine and Madrone. Warm, rather sultry and somewhat cloudy. July 14, 1935 Shot a B at the same place as July 13. It was raining slightly when the bat was shot.
