July 12, 1935
Shot a ♀ about 8:30 P.M. at the same place as July 11. Warm and clear.
July 13, 1935
Shot 2♀♀ in the evening at the same place as July 11 + 12. Warm, rather sultry and somewhat cloudy.
Rurdy Creek, 1/2 mi. E Smith Pines, Del Norte Co., Calif.
July 16, 1935
Shot 1♂ as it flew back and forth over the creek at the edge of the alders. It seemed to stay out over the water most of the time. Saw only one other bat apparently larger than this one. This is in typical Redwood Association.
Clear and fairly warm.
