Palmer 1935 Neotrichus gibbii Clear Creek, 1400 ft., 3 mi. W Klamath River, Siskiyou Co., Calif. June 24 Caught 1 in 35 traps set up Four Mile Creek which runs into Clear Creek from the North. The specimen, a ?, was taken on a narrow ledge of the steep mossy streambank. Around the trap was a sparse growth of Boykinia slata and Fierfinger fern (Adiantum pedatum). Dr. The steep bank, overhanging the stream were Alder, Acer macrophyllum, Cornus nuttallii, Lithocarpus densiflorus and Quercus chrysolepis. At several places on sandy bars along the stream, small surface runways like miniature mole workings were noted. The runways commonly terminated in an opening. It is quite probable that these runways are made by this species.
