New 2 shot 3 Passerella iliaca and 1 Eutamias amoenus. Also saw Green-tailed Towhee, Lazuli Bunting, Mountain(?) Chickadee and Western Tanaga and Allen Hummingbird.
Returned to camp about noon. On the way down, saw Citellus douglasii, Eutamias townsendii and heard Sciurus douglasii.
The locality from which I got Fox Sparrows and Eutamias amoenus designated as:
Del Norte-Siskiyou C. line, 5600 ft., 5 3/4 mi. S Oregon line, Calif.
In the evening found 1 Clethrionomys mazama in 18 traps by logs in conifers. Added 10 traps to this line. Both mole traps sprung but only caught 1 Eapamus latimanus. Put out 1 set for gophers.
