June 16 Donomore Meadow, 5800 ft., 15 mi. W Telt (Cont'd.)
contd. caught 7 Clethrionomys mazama, 1 Sorex
vagrans?, and 1 Peromyscus maniculatus. In 7
rat traps in conifers caught 1 Eutamias townsendii.
In 30 traps in the meadow caught 1 Zapus
pacificus. In 10 traps in low brush on till 21
of trapline in meadow caught 3 Peromyscus
maniculatus.
A bird not seen before is Williamson Sapouker
which was seen in a Pinus monticola near camp.
In the evening found 2 Clethrionomys mazama
in 30 traps by logs in conifers.
June 17 In 30 traps by logs in conifers, caught 1 Clethro-
nomys. 7 rat traps in the same area caught
nothing. In 30 traps in the meadow, caught
1 Zapus pacificus and 1 Lincoln Sparrow. In 10
traps low brush on the hill, caught 1 Peromyscus
maniculatus. Mole trap sprung.
In the evening moved all 7 rat traps to new
situations but all still in conifers. Took 6 traps
from the 30 by logs in conifers. These added to
line of 30 in meadow along with 10 from the
hill so line in meadow = 46 Traps.
June 18 In 46 gov-size mouse traps in the meadow,
cought 1 Zapus pacificus and 6 Peromyscus
maniculatus. Caught nothing in 24 gov-size
mouse traps in conifers nor in 7 rat traps & the mole
