Palmer/1934 Dipodomys microps levipes June 30. Mason Valley, 12 mi. E Wellington, 5000 ft., Lyon Co., Nev. Caught 7 in 46 traps set in Atriplex, Chrysothamnus and Sarcobatus. One ? with two 10mm embryos. It appeared that this species is more common in the sander parts of the mesa where the traps were set. July 8 3 mi. S Schurz, 4100 ft., Mineral Co., Nev. Caught 7 in 74 traps set on sandy soil in Atriplex, Sarcobatus, Chryso- thamnus and Chenopodium. July 31 1/2 mi. SE Wadsworth, 4200 ft., Lyon Co., Nev Caught one in 45 traps set across a sandy flat in Sarcobatus, Chenopodium and Atriplex Aug 1. 1mi. W Hazen, 4250 ft., Lyon Co., Nev. Caught 6 in 80 traps set on level ground which varied from hard baked adobe to coarse gravel. However, they seemed to prefer the more sandy parts.
