Palmer 1934 Dipodomys leucogenys June 28 Rmi. 5 W Pine Grove, 7250 ft. Mineral Co., Nevada. Caught 2 in 40 traps. One was taken in an old road between Artemisia and Chrysothamnus. The other was taken in a sandy spot in Artemisia. June 29. Caught 2 in 45 traps. One was taken on sandy soil with a sparse covering of Artemisia. This was fairly well up from the flat in the bottom of the canyon. The second was taken in Chrysothamnus and Artemisia in the flat in the bottom of the canyon, very near the dry creek bed. This one had wild gooseberry seeds and some grass seeds in cheek pouches.
