Caught mammals of the following
species: 13 Dipodomys merriami, 1 Dipodomys
microps levipes, 1 Onychomys torridus
2 Perognathus l. panamintinus in 45
traps.
Drove with Hall, Russell and Johnson
to a point 4 mi. W Hagen where I set 80
6oo-sized mouse traps across dry
rocky, adobe soil with low bushes
of Ephedra, Atriplex and Sarcobatus.
Aug. 1 4 mi. W Hagen, 4250 ft. Lyon Co., Nev.
Caught mammals of the following
species: 6 Dipodomys microps, 7 D.
merriami, 5 Perognathus longimembris
and 1 Mus musculus in 80 traps.
Broke camp about 3:00 P.M. and
started for Berkeley via Reno, Truckee,
Auburn, Sacramento, and Carquinez
Bridge and arrived about 10 A.M.
