Palmer /1934 Collected one Uta p. stansburiana. In the evening collected #Toads - Bufo boreas and two Spadefoot toads - Scaphio- pus hammondii with E.R. Hall in The shallow stream near camp July 10 Drove from camp to the north end of Walker Lake, 8 mi. SE Schurz, 4100 ft. Mineral Co., Nev. Here on the muddy shore of the lake I shot one Snowy Plover. At camp made six sets for gophers in moist soil along the stream. Mounds were usually between the very moist edge of the stream and the dry sand of surround- ing country. July 11. Caught two gophers - Thomomys bottae and shot a young & Badger by the stream. Also caught a specimen of Thamnophis in the grass by the stream side. Description of camp 3 mi. S Schurz, 4100 ft. Mineral Co., Nev. Camp was located in a grove of large Cottonwood trees 40-60 ft. high which cover- ed the higher banks of the stream.
