Palmer 1934 June 27 (cont.) of camp, the line running north. 17 traps were set in an old road, about 10 traps in Artemisia and Chrysothamnus and about 15 traps [illegible] on a rocky ridge among Pinos. Here the line swung east and back to the south with 10 traps set in Artemisia and Chrysothamnus. The two rat traps were set in an old cabin about 100 ft. N of camp. June 28 Caught 13 mammals of the following species: 2 Dipodomys leucogena, 1 Peromyscus truei Truei, and 10 Peromyscus maniculatus sonoriensis. got a mouse and 2 rat Set 45 traps. 36 were set in a line starting 200 yds. N of camp and run- ing east toward the creek bed. When the creek bed was reached the line turned N.E to follow it then swung east and finally back toward camp. Traps were about 50 ft. apart. The territory trazzed was mainly sandy soil with Artemisia and Chrysothamnus. 9 traps were set on a rocky ridge among Pinos.
